Pilates

Pilates uses slow, precise movements requiring control and alignment to strengthen and lengthen muscles. The focus is on your core. Some classes use machines to add support or resistance.
Tip
Listening to music can help but choose something that isn’t too loud or quick. A big part of Pilates is listening to your breathing rate so you learn your own rhythm.
