Ausport is focused on getting more Australians participating and excelling in sport.


Play.Sport.Australia is the Australian Sports Commission’s game plan to get more Australians, particularly young Australians, playing sport more often – at school or with friends at their local club.

Sporting Schools

The Australian Government’s $100 million Sporting Schools initiative is part of Play.Sport.Australia. It brings schools and sports together to help get young Australians to be more active. Sporting Schools is open to all schools and has quality programs developed by over 30 national sporting organisations. It offers a fun and supportive environment for young people and coaches.
